The geo-consulting business line of Paris-based CGG acquired Calgary, Alberta-based Taurus Reservoir Solutions Ltd., the geosciences company said April 21.
Taurus provides conventional and unconventional reservoir and geomechanical simulation, engineering technology and consulting services.
CGG’s geoscience portfolio was enhanced by the acquisition, according to Sophie Zurquiyah, senior executive vice president of geology, geophysics and reservoir.
