Lundin Petroleum AB appointed Nick Walker as senior vice president of development and operations, the Stockholm-based company said April 20. The appointment is effective immediately, the company added.
Walker will oversee all global development projects and will join the company’s investment committee.
Previously, Walker was COO of Africa Oil Corp. since 2012. From 2009 to 2011, he was executive vice president for international operations at Talisman Energy Inc. (NYSE: TLM, TO: TLM). He has also worked at Bow Valley and BP Plc (NYSE: BP).
Walker has degrees from Imperial College London, University College London and London’s City University Business School.
