Sigma Offshore has appointed Geir Eik as vice-president internal turret systems.
Eik has over 40 years experience in the international oil and gas industry. He is a specialist in turret mooring and fluid transfer systems, with particular expertise in high-pressure seal, bearing and control systems as well as internal turrets and riser analysis. He also specialises in the design and engineering of mobile drilling rigs
Eik has participated in a number of projects over the years, fulfilling a variety of roles from specialist engineer to project manager.
