The U.K.-based Rovco has launched a new hydrographic services division in which it plans to invest £9.5 million (US$13.4 million) over the next two years, the company said on June 7.
Rovco Survey Solutions will offer a broad range of hydrographic services, from wind farm site and cable route surveys, spanning seabed mapping, geophysical and shallow geotechnical services, to hazard surveys and UXO target identification.
This will go alongside broader offerings such as UXO disposal, marine habitat assessment surveys and archaeological investigations.
Additionally, Rovco will expand its survey team with 8 new staff members this month.
