AISUS Offshore, a provider of remotely deployed inspection solutions, received 15 contracts and work scopes, and reported that 20% of its revenues are now generated by overseas business.
The company, based in Aberdeen, Scotland, most recently completed four J-tube inspections on a Mediterranean Sea platform for an oil services firm, according to a Dec. 19 press release.
AISUS also completed internal caisson inspection projects in Norway and Denmark using its custom-engineered Aquarius system to perform corrosion mapping over the entire internal surface of the caisson. Previously, there was no way to perform full length corrosion mapping on subsea and topside structures in the same deployment.
Stuart Lawson, managing director of AISUS Offshore, said the company has worked for the past four years to improve technology and application of inspection solutions.
