MOL Energy UK completed its collaborative partnership process required to meet the certification standard BS11000, and now has five collaboration partners for subsurface, wells, subsea, facilities and hardware in North Sea operations.
AGR Tracs is the partner for subsurface; Petrofac company SPD is the partner for wells; Wood Group is the partner for facilities; Subsea7 is the partner for subsea and Proserv is the partner for hardware.
MOL Energy UK, a subsidiary of Hungary’s MOL Group, went public in the U.K. market in 2014.
“At MOL Energy UK we are clear the path to success lies in adopting a collaborative business model,” said Chris Bird, managing director. “And as a new market entrant, we are in an ideal position to create a corporate culture and values-driven approach that is based on effective collaboration from the start.”
Ian Rattray, head of supply chain and procurement at MOL Energy UK, said the selection process for partners covered commercial offering, added value, cultural alignment, managing interfaces between the company and external partners, resourcing, good communication and having a process for managing conflict.
The company also undertook a commercial assessment.
