Subsea marine electronic equipment rental company Seatronics Ltd. promoted Phil Middleton to group managing director, the company said May 14. Previously, he had been deputy managing director.
Middleton will manage and develop U.K.-based Seatronics’ global business, focusing on long-term growth, strategy and compliance.
Middleton joined Seatronics in 2003 as an internal sales engineer. He previously worked for Scientific Drilling Controls. Middleton has 21 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and 19 years in the rental market, and has handled engineering, operations, commercial and business development.
Middleton earned a degree from Robert Gordon University.
Seatronics Ltd. is part of the survey, monitoring and data segment of Aceton Group, a global subsea services company based in the U.K.
