Houston-based onshore U.S. and U.K. North Sea operator Endeavour International Corp. (NYSE: END, LSE: ENDV.L) appointed David C. Baggett as its chief restructuring officer. Endeavour is working with Opportune LLP during its financial restructuring process, and Baggett is that company's managing partner, the company added.
Baggett became managing partner in 2005, and began his career at Deloitte & Touche, where he was a partner in its energy practice, Endeavour said. He was also senior vice president and CFO of a publicly traded exploration and production company, Endeavour said.
He serves on the boards of directors for North Star Energy, Thunderbird Resources LP and Marlin Midstream GP LLC, the company added.
"The board of directors and I are impressed with David's in-depth knowledge of the oil and gas industry, combined with his experience leading companies through the restructuring process," said William L. Transier, Endeavour’s chairman, president and CEO.
"We believe that makes him extremely qualified to serve as our chief restructuring officer as we continue discussions with our various stakeholders," he added.
