Dejour Energy Inc. detailed an update on its Woodrush project in northwestern Alberta, the company said July 14.
Oil production had been tied into the B-100 Halfway oil step-out well and into the A-100 Gething gas well from first-quarter 2014’s drilling program.
The waterflood enhancements and first-quarter 2015 well completions increased production—to date, 397 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d) are produced.
There are four oil wells and nine natural gas wells with processing facilities and pipeline in place, Dejour said.
Scheduled maintenance at the McMahon gas plant that curtailed production was completed, the company said.
Gas production at Woodrush shipped through the Spectra line is ramping up, currently averaging 1.8 million cubic feet per day, or 300boe/d. Dejour owns a 99% working interest in these wells and is project operator.
Robert L. Hodgkinson, chairman and CEO, said the company expects its 26 gross wells to produce 1,200boe/d “into the sales pipe” by the end of third-quarter 2015. Available cash flows will drive new development, he added.
Dejour Energy Inc. is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
