Three extended-reach Codell discoveries were completed by Helis Oil & Gas Co. LLC from a drillpad on the northern flank of the Denver-Julesberg Basin in Section 6-16n-63w, Laramie County, Wyo. The #16-63-6-7-18-2CH Sandberg is producing from a lateral extending southward to 17,995 ft (7,747 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 18-16n-63w. It initially flowed 1.434 Mbbl of 35-degree-gravity oil, 80 Mcf of gas and 1,707 Mbbl of water per day. According to IHS Markit it was tested on a 64/64-in. choke following 60-stage fracturing between 8,180 and 17,995 ft.
