Drilling Activity Summary

Description

An Upper Texas Coast well was completed by Tulsa-based Samson Energy including a Yegua gas well that confirms the operator's School Field discovery in Jefferson County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas. The #1 Beaumont AMC Gas Unit flowed 4.732 MMcf of gas, with 115 bbl of 50-degree-gravity condensate and 8 bbl of water per day. Production is from natural perforations at 15,756-80 ft. It was tested on an unreported choke size with a flowing tubing pressure of 9,773 psi and a shut-in tubing pressure of 11,500 psi. The 16,037-ft directional well is on a 174-acre lease in Ashael Savery Survey, A-46 and it bottomed a mile to the northeast at a true vertical depth of 14,592 ft in Charles Williams Survey, A-59.
