Samson Energy Co. LLC was formed in December 2011 to continue the development and growth of the oil and gas assets retained by the Schusterman family following the sale of Samson Investment Co. to an investor group led by KKR, after 40 years of profitable growth. SEC current oil and gas assets are located in Wyoming’s D-J Basin.
Samson Energy and its operating subsidiaries Samson Exploration LLC and Samson Offshore LLC are privately held energy companies with their headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma and an office in Golden, Colorado.
