MCM Operating LLC has scheduled eight horizontal wildcats on the northwestern flank of the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Goshen County, Wyo. The eight ventures will be drilled from two common drillpads, one in Section 23-23n-62w and another in Section 26-23n-62w. They are all two-section laterals in Frontier Sand on the company’s Sultana and Turnagain Fee leases. Bottom-hole locations are to the north in Section 14-23n-62w, and to the south in Section 35-23n-62w. Measured total depths range between 16,790 and 17,044 ft; true vertical depths range between 6,462 and 6,561 ft. The sites are about 1 mile west of Springer Field, an abandoned, two-well Codell pool opened in 1974. MCM is based in Midland, Texas.
