Drilling Activity Summary

Description

ConocoPhillips subsidiary Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Co LP has scheduled eight horizontal Niobrara tests on a common drillpad in a Denver-Julesburg Basin area within the Aurora, Colo., city limits and 2 miles southwest of Front Range Airport. The Adams County ventures will be drilled from a pad in Section 30-3s-64w westward to bottom-hole locations in Section 25-3s-65w. The #3-64 30-25-1AH, 1BH, 1CH, 1DH, 2AH, 2BH, 2CH and 2DH Yellow will be drilled across two sections to total depths of 15,461-15,693 ft and true vertical depths of 7,646-7,757 ft). The ventures will be within 1 mile southwest of Watkins Field, an abandoned J sand oil pool. To date, only four horizontal Niobrara producers have been completed in the township—two in Section 28 and one each in sections 19 and 36.
