The state of Alaska has granted ConocoPhillips drilling permits for two more Willow development delineation tests in Umiat Meridian in Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve. The #18 Tinmiaq will be in Section 10-8n-1w and will evaluate Nanushuk oil zones. No target depth was disclosed and it will be directionally drilled to the northwest to a proposed bottom-hole location in Section 4-8n-1w. The #22 Tinmiaq will be in Section 15-11n-1w, approximately 17 miles north of #18 Tinmiaq site. It will be vertically drilled to evaluate Nanushuk oil zones. ConocoPhillips is based in Houston.
