Zargon Oil & Gas Ltd. has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell or farmout of a portion of its undeveloped shallow mineral rights in central Alberta.

The package includes an average 98% working interest in shallow rights on 20,320 gross acres (19,917 net) in the Killam area, covering 31.75 sections of land. The deal includes all rights held by Zargon to the base of the Viking formation.

Zargon has separated the Killam lands into four packages, each of which is being marketed individually. The four packages are at Killam South, Bellshill, Wavy Lake and Wavy Lake East. The company will entertain offers to purchase or to farmin on any of the individual packages.

The lands are situated in an area that has recently seen extensive development of the Viking with horizontal wells which have been completed with multiple fracs.
