Privately held Canadian company Shorthorn Exploration Ltd. has retained CB Securities Inc. to sell the company. The majority of Shorthorn's holdings are gas properties in the Camrose and Stanmore areas of central Alberta and an oil property in the Maidstone region of eastern Saskatchewan. Assets include 100% working interests in 14 producing wells averaging 24 barrels of oil equivalent per day per well. Net production is about 335 barrels equivalent per day, consisting of 96 barrels per day from three oil wells and 1.44 million cubic feet per day from 11 wells. Additional low-risk infill development drilling locations and re-completions have been identified. Most producing wells have additional behind-pipe zones for future re-completion.
