Pocaterra Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: PCT) has retained Tristone Capital Inc. to examine strategic alternatives that may include acquisitions or the sale, merger, takeover or restructuring of Pocaterra. Pocaterra's production during the fourth quarter of 2005 was some 308 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Current production is more than 325 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
