in 28,250-acre Pawnee County, OK position.PetroQuest Energy Inc., Lafayette, La., (NYSE: PQ) has sold a 50% working interest in a acreage in Pawnee County, Oklahoma to an undisclosed buyer for approximately $14.5 million.
The sell-down was subsequent to the acquisition of 28,250 acres of Oklahoma Mississippian lime assets in Pawnee County from an undisclosed private seller for $24.1 million.
After completing this acquisition and subsequent sell-down, the company has approximately 24,000 net acres in Pawnee, Grant and Kay counties in Oklahoma and Sumner County, Kansas.
