Petro-Hunt LLC has retained Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc. to sell certain assets in the Bakken shale/Three Forks play of the Williston Basin.

The package includes approximately 145,958 gross acres (97,519 net) of mostly contiguous acreage blocks in Williams, Divide, Dunn and Mercer counties in North Dakota, and Roosevelt and Richland counties in Montana. The properties are separated into six packages; however, Petro-Hunt is open to receiving an offer for 100% of the assets.

The acreage is surrounded by significant Bakken shale/Three Forks development from major producers such as Brigham Exploration (Rough Rider area), Continental Resources, EOG Resources, Hess Corp., Marathon, Newfield Exploration, Occidental Petroleum and Whiting Petroleum. Operations are available in most areas and units.

Petro-Hunt has permitted or is in the process of permitting 22 1,280-acre units within the properties for sale. Upside includes more than 100 drilling locations.
