Kerr-McGee Corp. has retained Scotia Waterous to sell interests in South Texas, the Rockies, the Anadarko and Permian basins, and on the Gulf Coast. First-quarter net production was approximately 7,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day and net reserves are estimated at 68.2 million barrels of oil equivalent. The South Texas assets consist of operated properties in the Tijerna-Canales- Blucher, Rincon, Vaquillas Ranch and San Carlos fields. First-quarter production averaged 2,420 barrels of oil equivalent and proved reserves are some 17.2 million barrels equivalent. The Rocky Mountain region assets consist of conventional and coalbed-methane properties in the Powder River and D-J basins. First-quarter production totaled 3,149 barrels equivalent per day and proved reserves are estimated at 11.6 million barrels equivalent. The Midcontinent assets include waterfloods in the Calumet, Oakdale and Rush Springs SW fields. First-quarter production was 614 barrels equivalent per day and proved reserves are approximately 4.4 million barrels equivalent. The Permian Basin assets include the Levelland, Slaughter, Nolley and McFarland fields. First-quarter production totaled 809 barrels equivalent per day and proved reserves are estimated at 6.3 million barrels equivalent. Major fields for sale on the Gulf Coast include Buna West, Nona Mills and Masters Creek. Net production for January 2005 was 270 barrels equivalent per day and proved reserves are some 1.3 million barrels equivalent.
