Bought 8 leases covering 1,347 acres in TX, gaining 20 BO/d.

Treaty Energy Corp., Houston, (Pink Sheets: TECO), has acquired eight oil and gas leases covering 1,347 acres in Texas from an undisclosed seller for an undisclosed price.

The acquisition consists of 13 fully equipped and producing wells, 18 shut-in wells to be put back on line, 12 injection wells and four water supply wells. The assets also include eight individual tank batteries consisting of 17 storage tanks, eight oil/water separators, six water pumping stations and miscellaneous tubing, pipe and casings.

Production is about 20 barrels of oil per day.

Treaty president and chief operating officer Stephen L. York says, "Treaty will assume operational control of these leases through the company-owned operating subsidiary, C & C Petroleum Management LLC."
