Yemen LNG resumed operations on April 21, nearly a month after a blast caused by gunmen on its feed pipeline shut down production. "Yemen LNG company confirms that it has restarted normal operations," the facility's owner, Total, said in a news statement.

Six LNG cargoes were cancelled as a result of the shutdown, but Yemen LNG officials said they will make up for these cancellations by the end of the year. In addition, security at the facility and its related pipelines has been increased to prevent future terrorist attacks.
