Wood Group Mustang and Grupo Diavaz, a Mexican oil and gas operator and services company, created Mustang Diavaz, a joint venture (JV) engineering business, to capitalize on Mexico's energy reform, according to a June 9 press release.
Mustang Diavaz will be based in Mexico City and will provide engineering, procurement and construction management services to onshore and offshore facilities, and will also provide pipelines, for Mexico’s upstream and midstream markets.
Luis Vazquez, chairman and CEO of Grupo Diavaz, said that the JV company will have predictable project delivery and will adhere to industry-recognized safety standards.
