Brian A. Williams joined consulting and investment banking advisory firm Carl Marks Advisors as managing director, supporting their investment banking and advisory teams in the oil and gas sector, the firm said May 5.
Williams has 20 years of oil and gas investment banking, strategic advisory and operating experience, handling M&A, public and private capital raises, restructurings, principal investing and executive management.
Most recently, he was CFO, co-founder and director of Cretic Energy Services, a completion services company.
Prior to that, he led the oilfield services investment banking practices at Macquarie Capital and Tristone Capital.
Williams has a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s of business administration degree from Harvard Business School.
