WGP has completed the remobilization of the dual portable modular source system (D-PMSSTM) onboard the Siddis Sailor as part of the ongoing 4-D/4C permanent reservoir monitoring project over the Statoil-operated Snorre and Grane fields in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, the company said in a news release.
The projected work program will see repeat source surveys undertaken over both the Snorre and Grane trenched seabed cable systems through spring and early summer, with subsequent surveys to be completed in early autumn, the release said.
In other news, WGP also reported it has completed the remobilization of the Bergen Surveyor and has commenced a program of work in the South East Barents Sea on behalf of TGS.
An initial program of three month of high resolution 3-D (HR3D) will be acquired utilizing P-CableTM technology and will comprise both regional and localized data acquisition to consolidate TGS’ multiclient data library in the Barents Sea, the release said.
