W&T Offshore Inc., Houston, (NYSE: WTI) has named Jamie L. Vazquez president. Tracy W. Krohn held the position and will continue to be chairman and chief executive.
Vazquez joined the company in 1998 and was vice president, land, since 2003. Previously, she was with CNG Producing Co. for 17 years.
“She brings us a wealth of industry experience and expert knowledge of our company. She is a talented individual and we look forward to utilizing her unique skills,” Krohn says. “As the company enters its next growth phase, my continued focus on increasing shareholder value, along with Ms. Vazquez’s expertise, will ensure our competitive position in the industry.”
Founded in 1983, W&T Offshore holds a working interest in 155 fields in federal and state waters in the Gulf of Mexico. JAS
