Energy investment and merchant bank Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. opened an office in Calgary on May 1. Tudor, Pickering Holt & Co. Securities—Canada has Hilary Foulkes as its chair, the company said.
“Hilary is the ideal person to spearhead our efforts in Canada, a very important market for TPH,” said Bobby Tudor, chairman and CEO
“We aspire to be the global leader in energy financial services, and you cannot do that without being on the ground in Calgary. We already do a significant amount of business in Canada, but it's time to expand the effort. We are delighted to have found Hilary to lead TPH Canada," he added.
Foulkes previously was COO at Penn West Exploration and a managing director for Scotia Waterous, the company noted.
"I am excited about joining TPH. It is a very talented team, with a culture and philosophy I am proud to represent. I look forward to helping TPH build out its Canadian practice and to introducing my colleagues in the Canadian energy space to the firm's capabilities," she said.
