Oil and gas service provider Tracerco, part of Johnson Matthey Plc, re-launched its LevelFinderPlus technology after a rebrand. The instrument will now be known as Optimus. The technology uses processing algorithms to provide oil and gas companies with insight into vessel operating conditions. It is able to make accurate measurements of liquids in a vessel in the presence of deposit buildup and vapor density fluctuations.
Features of Optimus include:
- Reduced unplanned shutdowns;
- Improved product quality;
- Process optimization;
- Operator confidence to increase production and maximize throughput;
- Monitor deposit buildup; and
- Redundancy of measurement.
The technology is designed for liquid level and interface measurements as well as solids monitoring in a wide range of process vessels.
