Thailand's PTT Exploration and Production Pcl is considering buying a stake in Bongkot offshore gas field from BG Group Plc, according to CEO Somporn Vongvuthipornchai on Jan. 12.
He also said that the company—the country's top energy firm—is considering cutting its US$3.4 billion investment budget for this year due to declining oil prices.
He told reporters the company has already delayed investment in three foreign projects in Canada, Australia and Myanmar.
