Team Oil Tools LP said Sept. 15 it acquired the assets of Top Notch Energy Services Inc., which has operations across Texas shale plays.
Based in Corpus Christi, Texas, Top Notch is a provider of thru tubing, fishing and milling services with operations across the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin markets. The terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
Backed by Intervale Capital, Team is focused on the design, manufacture, sale and service of downhole completions and workover products.
"Top Notch's expertise in thru tubing services provides a highly complementary offering to Team's suite of completions and workover services. The acquisition will provide Team the expertise to expand thru tubing operations across its service centers throughout the U.S.," Adam Anderson, Team's CEO, said in a statement.
Team is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. The company has service centers located in major U.S. oil and gas markets, including the Permian Basin, South Texas, Williston Basin, Midcontinent, Appalachia and ArkLaTex regions. It also has manufacturing operations in Conroe, Texas, and Bakersfield, Calif.
