Crude oil and petroleum tanker company Overseas Shipholding Group Inc. (NYSE MKT: OSGB) appointed Brian Tanner as vice president of investor relations and corporate communications, the company said April 23.
Previously, Tanner was head of investor relations for Hawaiian Telcom. He also was a senior equity research analyst for telecommunications at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. He also held corporate finance at AT&T and Alcatel-Lucent.
Tanner has a bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey and a master’s in business administration from Pace University.
Tanner will report to Rick F. Oricchio, senior vice president and CFO.
Overseas Shipholding Group Inc. is based in New York.
