A binding open season for the Sooner Trails project commenced Oct. 24, Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline Inc. announced. The project extends from the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province production play in Grady County, Okla., to the Bennington Pipeline Hub in Bryan County, Okla.
During the open season, Southern Star invites parties interested in firm transportation capacity on the Sooner Trails project to submit binding bids until the open season ends at 4 p.m. Central time on Nov. 21. Bids received during the open season will be used to determine whether Southern Star proceeds with the project and to define the project’s final parameters. If a binding open season is successful, Southern Star expects service to begin April 1, 2017. Southern Star is also interested in receiving non-binding bids for capacity.
