Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc. (NYSE: HLX) said the Siem Helix 1 well intervention vessel has started operations offshore Brazil for Petrobras.
The vessel will be performing well intervention services under a multiyear contract with Petrobras, according to a Business Wire news release.
The contract has a reduced day rate for the vessel as Helix works through certain items identified in the vessel acceptance process.
