Scollard Energy Inc. has retained Sayer Energy Advisors to sell certain undeveloped lands in central Alberta in two packages.
In the first package, Scollard holds varying high working interests in nine sections of undeveloped Cardium rights in the Garrington, Gilby and Knobhill areas of Alberta. Offsetting horizontal Cardium oil wells in the area have come on at initial rates as high as 200 barrels per day.
The second package includes a 100% working interest in four sections of land, a 66.67% working interest in two sections of land and a 50% working interest in a seventh section of land that are prospective for liquids-rich natural gas production from the Duvernay formation in the Willesden Green and Westerose areas of Alberta.
The company has commenced preparations to drill a vertical Duvernay test well on its expiring land.
Due to the imminent expiry of some of the Duvernay rights, Scollard will entertain pre-emptive offers to acquire these lands in advance of the stated bid deadline.
The bid due date is Jan. 19. Contact Alan W. Tambosso, 403-266-6133, atambosso@sayeradvisors.com.
