RSP Permian Inc. (RSPP) closed its roughly-$137 million acquisition of undeveloped acreage and oil and gas producing properties in the Midland Basin, the company said Nov. 18.
Since August 2015, RSP has acquired about 10,700 net acres in the basin, and most offset or are close to existing operations. These acquisitions have increased the company's horizontal inventory in its core focus area by more than 25%.
