Royale Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROYL) appointed Jonathan Gregory as an independent director of the company on its board of directors, noting that he replaced George Watters in the role, the company said June 24.
Watters had joined the board in 1991, Royale added.
Gregory has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and natural gas industry, Royale said, noting that during 25 years as a banker, he provided reserve-based lending to private and public industry companies.

San Diego-based Royale Energy Inc. acquires and produces domestic oil and natural gas.
