Richard Erskine, president of Atmos Pipeline—Texas, was elected chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA), the largest state trade association in the country. The TPA solely represents the interests of the intrastate pipeline network.
Erskine became president of Atmos Pipeline—Texas when Atmos Energy acquired TXU Gas in 2004. During 2005 to 2007, Erskine also served as president of the Mid-Tex Division, which conducts local gas distribution functions. Previously, he was vice president of natural gas supply and marketing for TXU Gas.
