Repsol has made two discoveries in the Karabashsky blocks of Russia’s West Siberian Ouriyinskoye Field, the company said in a news release.

The company credited use of modern seismic techniques to detecting the potential resources, allowing it to make the finds in the relatively unexplored area of West Siberia, the release said.
