According to a recent press release concerning the upcoming Iran LNG & Gas Partnerships Summit, 29 companies are now approved to tender for oil and gas projects in Iran.
The Iran LNG & Gas Partnerships Summit will take place in February in Frankfurt, Germany. It is backed by Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum and NIOC and NIGC.
The press release reported that, according to the Middle East Oil & Gas Monitor, Tehran also plans to launch a licensing round by the end of February, with contracts to develop giant and supergiant oil and gas fields. Also, news suggests the report of additional shale gas reserves in Iran.
