EQT Corp. (NYSE: EQT) and Range Resources Corp. (NYSE: RRC) completed an exchange of assets in late April 2014, both companies said in a press release June 16.
EQT received about 73,000 net acres and more than 900 producing wells in the Permian Basin, the company said.
Range received about 138,000 net acres and the remaining interest in a supporting gathering system in the Nora Field of Virginia, and $145 million, according to the press release.
Fort Worth, Texas-based Range Resources Corp. operates in Appalachia and the Midcontinent.
Pittsburgh-based EQT Corp. focuses on Appalachian-area natural gas.
