The West Australian Department of Mines & Petroleum approved the transfer of title and operatorship for a farm-in of the EP416 and the EP480 exploration permits to Pilot Energy Ltd., Pilot said Feb. 10. This was done in connection with Pilot’s agreement with Empire Oil & Gas NL.
The working interests in the permits are now 60% for Pilot as operator and 40% for Empire.
Currently, Pilot is finalizing its aero-geophysical survey interpretations and will issue an analysis. The survey was conducted by Empire in 2015, the company said.
