Parsley Energy Inc. (NYSE: PE) said July 5 it appointed Stephanie Reed as the Permian Basin-focused company's senior vice president of land.
Reed, who joined the Austin, Texas-based company in 2010, previously served as Parsley's vice president of land. Before joining the company, she worked for a law practice in various roles as well as working as an independent landman.
"Stephanie's expertise and favorable reputation throughout the industry have facilitated numerous transactions and helped ensure that Parsley derives maximum value from the company's leasehold. An essential member of the Parsley team for years, Stephanie earned this promotion through her outstanding leadership of the land department to date. I look forward to her ongoing contributions as we continue to consolidate and develop our premier acreage position," Bryan Sheffield, Parsley's chairman and CEO, said in a statement.

In her new role at Parsley, which is effective July 1, she will continue to manage the company's land-related activities, reporting to Matt Gallagher, Parsley's president and COO.
Reed is a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association, the Austin Landmen’s Association and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech.
