Osage Exploration and Development Inc. (OTC: OEDV) appointed Gregory Holcombe to its board of directors, the company said July 25. He is the first independent director, the company added, noting that the position is effective Aug. 1.
Currently, he is on the board of directors at Hudson Valley Bank in Westchester County, N.Y., Osage said. He is on the loan and oversight committees, the company added, noting he joined the board in 1999.
Holcombe has a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and international marketing from Tulane University, Osage said.
“As Osage gains momentum as a company, it is imperative to bring experienced, independent oversight to our board of directors. Greg Holcombe exemplifies the character and dedication that one hopes to find in corporate governance. Osage is proud that he has agreed to become part of our team," said chairman and CEO Kim Bradford.
San Diego-based Osage Exploration and Development Inc. operates domestic oil and natural gas assets.
