Oryx Petroleum Corp. Ltd.appointed Vance Querio as its COO. He succeeds Henry Legarre, who is leaving, in the role, the company said April 27.
Querio joined Oryx in 2012 as West Africa regional manager.
Previously, he was chairman and managing director for Addax Petroleum’s Nigeria business unit. He also worked for Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) and other oil companies.
Iraq- and Africa-focused Oryx Petroleum Corp. Ltd. is based in Calgary, Alberta.
