Woodside Petroleum has confirmed it has secured Transocean’s Deepwater Millennium drillship for an eight well program offshore Australia. The operator will drill the wells in the Outer Canning Basin, where it is the operator with a 55% stake. During the second quarter of this year it carried out processing and interpretation of 3D seismic data from a survey carried out last year. The Deepwater Millennium will drill the wells in 2014 and 2015.
