Spire STL Pipeline LLC began an open season for its proposed Spire STL Pipeline, the company said Aug. 1.
The 70-mile Spire STL Pipeline would bring natural gas to the St. Louis, Mo., region, from the largest producing basin in America, interconnecting to the Rockies Express Pipeline in Scott County, Ill., and ending in St. Louis County, Mo. The pipeline could initially deliver up to 400,000 dekatherms per day of gas.
The open season bids are due on Aug. 19, and the pipeline could begin service as early as Nov. 1, 2018.
Spire STL Pipeline LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spire Inc.
