Sunoco Logistics Partners LP began an open season for its Mariner East 2 expansion project, the company said Sept. 10.
With expanded capacity, Mariner East 2 will transport additional volumes of ethane, propane, butane, C3+, natural gas and condensate from Marcellus and Utica processing facilities to Sunoco Logistics’ Marcus Hook industrial complex on the Delaware River.
Mariner East 2 is scheduled to begin operations in 2017.
Priority service will be available for shippers with long-term volume commitments, the company said.
