Service company OneSubsea received a subsea production systems contract for a gas project offshore North Africa. The contract totals more than $300 million, the company said May 28.
The scope of supply for the 13-well development includes subsea production equipment, tooling and installation and commissioning services. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2016’s third quarter.
Jack Moore, chairman and CEO of Cameron, which is the co-parent company of OneSubSea with Schlumberger Ltd., said the contract marks “phase two” of the offshore North Africa development, and it is the largest amount for a subsea production system in the region to date.
