Niels Espeland has retired, effective immediately, as president of the international group at Precision Drilling Corp., where he has worked for five years, the company said Jan. 10.
Espeland will advise the company as a consultant on an ongoing basis. Espeland has worked with Precision’s Middle East and Latin America divisions, the company said.
Espeland has worked in the international oilfield service industry for more than 35 years.
Gene Stahl, president of drilling operations, will assume full responsibility for Precision's global drilling operations.
Precision Drilling Corp. is based in Alberta, Canada.
